Plot: Kurt, who suffers from an incurable disease, gets obsessed with the idea of freeing himself from his sick body - at any price.Story: Kurt (27), who suffers from the rare Marfan syndrome and is almost blind, lives with his clinging mother and dreams of being accepted at Shark School in L.A. The rejection there forces Kurt to take his life into his own hands and he separates from his mother. Haunted by her calls, Kurt leaves the clients and nurses of a care home distressed. In the streets Kurt meets Conny, a 13-year-old runaway from a broken home. She readily participates in Kurt's protest against his body, not knowing what moves him. They become a surrogate family for each other, including the conflicts of a real family. Under the pretext of needing help, Kurt uses a client from the care home to finally stifle his mother's calls.
